Metal VGC Weeklies ran Metal's Meteor Mash-Up #2 on 2 October 2026 as a Regulation M-C VGC tournament, event #2 in their ongoing series. LimitlessTCG lists 67 players for the event, with 33 final placements recorded in the standings.

Robin_VGC took the title on an 8-1-0 record, bringing Floette-Eternal, Dragonite-Mega, Sneasler, Gholdengo, Rillaboom and Incineroar, with Dragonite-Mega providing Tailwind support. OrangeSteve finished runner-up at 8-1-0 with Garchomp-Mega-Z, Kingambit, Glimmora-Mega, Volcarona, Rillaboom and Basculegion. Leozin completed the top three. Rillaboom showed up on 52% of the 33 archived teams, more than any other Pokémon, ahead of Incineroar and Gholdengo. Players from 9 countries recorded placements.
